Dress code advice needed: the Kabukiza theater

We will be watching a show at the Kabukiza theater in Tokyo this October.
Is there a dress cord in Kabukiza Theater?
I'm a 30-year-old man.
A companion is a 25-year-old lady.
Any advice or suggestions are appreciated.

If you are watching the short, one program play which is usually "standing room only", I think there is no 'real dress code' but use common sense. (IMHO still an incredible value for viewing a masterful, colorful living art-form.. bring binos tho..) If you are viewing the full show, usually two+ plays, intermission & assigned seats. I would at least dress smartly and conservative as there will be Japanese Women and Gentleman in the audience in fine Kimono.

I think that there is no dress code in Kabukiza. Usual clothes are OK.
