There 4 major ramen soup in Japan. Salt, Soy Sauce, Miso and Tonkotsu (pork broth), I think.
If we're talking about seasonings I like salt the most (1)! Regarding the base, I've never tried chicken broth so I can't really tell what's the best for me.
I know there's also a veggie-based one (2) and it's super delicious!

If we are talking about kinds of soup, can't we classify them by pork broth, chiken broth, seafood broth, etc. mixture?
